ESG Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ESG Manager to join our Sustainability team at ELKONI Search. This exciting role will allow you to take the lead on driving Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies, initiatives, and improvements across operations, occupier engagement, public realm projects, and community partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the ESG roadmap for London Bridge City, aligning initiatives with business objectives and promoting sustainable practices.
  • Support and grow integrated social value efforts, focusing on people and communities, and championing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Act as a key resource for occupiers, helping them achieve their ESG goals and promoting collaborative partnerships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local community partners and organizations to drive ESG value and promote sustainable development.
  • Collaborate with the Communications and Community Manager to promote and raise awareness of ESG initiatives and achievements.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual impact reporting on ESG performance for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Guide the London Bridge City team to improve ESG performance through effective project execution and communication.
  • Ensure compliance with ESG standards and drive continuous improvements, supporting sustainability goals and socio-economic benefits for occupiers.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a sustainability or ESG-related role, preferably within property management, real estate, or facilities management.
  • A degree in a relevant discipline (environment, sustainability, engineering, energy, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability, ESG reporting, and ability to translate data into actionable insights and best practices.
  • Experience in building stakeholder relationships and supporting ESG targets and ambitions for diverse groups.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and innovatively, translating vision into practical operational plans.
  • Knowledge of statutory and internal ESG compliance, including ISO standards and relevant certifications.
  • Experience in project management and the ability to deliver on ESG initiatives within budget and timeframes.
