Food and Beverage Operations Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Operations Manager to join our team at the National Trust. As a key member of our property team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of F&B operations at Tredegar House.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, induct, motivate, inspire, coach, and develop a large and diverse team.
- Ensure team members have clarity of purpose and recognition of results achieved.
- Plan and prioritize your own time and that of your team, delegating tasks to others as needed.
- Host regular 1:1's with direct reports and bi-annual performance reviews.
- Lead the team through a significant period of change and growth.
- Oversee all aspects of Health & Safety compliance, including Food Safety, allergens, COSHH, staff training, risk assessments, and regular audits.
- Work to deliver KPI's and manage the P&L account to ensure budgets are delivered.
- Identify new opportunities and work with the F&B Area Manager to make strategic decisions for the benefit of the operation.
Requirements
- Experience leading a high-volume F&B team.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Highly organized, able to prioritize, meet deadlines, and delegate.
- Confident leading a large and diverse team through change and growth.
- Visitor-focused and passionate about continually improving visitor experience.
- Level 3 food safety experience and confident in overseeing Health & Safety compliance.
- Experience in delivering KPI's and managing a P&L.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and highly IT literate.
