Food and Beverage Operations Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Operations Manager to lead our team at Tredegar House. As a key member of our property team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of F&B operations, including managing a large and diverse team, ensuring visitor satisfaction, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, induct, motivate, inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing F&B team
- Plan and prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and lead by example
- Host regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports, conduct bi-annual performance reviews, and lead full team meetings
- Oversee Health & Safety compliance, including Food Safety, allergens, COSHH, staff training, risk assessments, and regular audits
- Deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) account to ensure budget delivery
- Identify new opportunities and work with the F&B Area Manager to make strategic decisions for the benefit of the operation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a leader of people in a high-volume F&B environment
- Positive, can-do attitude, with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Confidence in leading a large and diverse team through change and growth
- Visitor-focused and passionate about continually improving visitor experience
- Level 3 food safety experience and confidence in overseeing Health & Safety compliance
- Experience in delivering KPIs and managing a P&L
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with high IT literacy
