Relief General Manager

As a Relief General Manager at Daniel Thwaites Head Office, you will play a vital role in supporting our portfolio of Inns. Your primary responsibility will be to cover the General Manager position at various properties, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
When not on travel assignments, you will be based at a local property, working closely with the General Manager and team to drive business growth and excellence. Your expertise will be invaluable in maintaining high standards of food and beverage service, guest satisfaction, and team performance.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced General Managers seeking a challenging and rewarding role with opportunities for career advancement. You will be responsible for leading a diverse team, managing payroll budgets, and maintaining business records. Your ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with senior leaders, and adapt to new environments will be essential in this role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the team to deliver exceptional hospitality and service
- Working towards business plan targets to meet sales and profit objectives
- Managing payroll budgets and rotas to achieve agreed targets
- Maintaining and reporting on business records as required
- Assuming responsibility for business operations during your shift
- Supporting and driving the team to achieve targets and deliver results
- Providing hands-on support with F&B service, guest management, and room bookings
