Job Description

Loading Bay Assistant

At Montcalm Collection, we are seeking a skilled and ambitious Loading Bay Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional service to all guests in accordance with our brand standards.

As a Loading Bay Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Montcalm Collection's next chapter. You will have the opportunity to showcase your skills, become a trusted ambassador for one of our hotels, and take advantage of the opportunity to move between properties.

Key Responsibilities

Protect company property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment

Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances

Act lawfully in direct defence of life or property

Apprehend criminals and evict violators

Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences

Report in detail any suspicious incidents

Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter

Monitor and control access at building entrances and gates

Watch video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment

Perform first aid or CPR if trained to do so

Key Requirements and Essential Qualifications

Proven work experience as a Security Guard or relevant position

Trained security officer with diploma (preferable)

Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment (preferable)

Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols

Surveillance skills and detail orientation

Integrity and professionalism

High school degree

High standard of personal presentation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident and outgoing personality and an ability to interact with people at all levels

Courteous and pleasant attitude towards guests and colleagues

Ability to work as part of a team

Good attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure

Positive and flexible approach to work (weekend and evening work will be required)

Confident and outgoing personality

Eligibility

Candidates must be authorised to live and work in the UK. Currently, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
