About the Role

We currently have a vacancy for an Assistant Service Manager working in our Group B services in Milton, Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities, focusing on their individualised goals and promoting resilience, independence, and personal growth.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Supporting individuals with varying ages and needs, working closely with family members and staff to ensure person-centred care
• Leading a team positively, mentoring and supporting staff, and undertaking administrative tasks efficiently
• Reporting to the Service Manager and working collaboratively with other teams to achieve our vision

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have experience in supporting people with learning and physical disabilities, including Autism. You should also possess excellent communication skills, be proactive and adaptable, and be able to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings. A Diploma in Health and Social Care (Level 3) or substantial experience in a similar field is essential.
