About the Role:
Whittington Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Band 6 School Nurse to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional care to children and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with schools, families, and other healthcare professionals to identify and address the health needs of children and young people.
- Provide specialist nursing support to children and young people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans to promote optimal health and well-being.
- Liaise with community services and other agencies to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve service delivery and outcomes.
Person Specification:
- RSCN or RN (Child Branch) qualification.
- Post-registration training and development in learning disabilities and/or autism.
- Experience working with children and families with complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary: £34,434 - £44,542 per annum (depending on experience)
