About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Children's Haemoglobinopathy Community Nurse, working closely with West London Haemoglobinopathy Coordinating Centre and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will be allocated a specified borough to cover, working as part of the Community Haemoglobinopathy Specialist Service across the Inner Division of CLCH as well as the boroughs of Ealing and Hillingdon.

This role offers a comprehensive induction into the community service followed by a local induction to introduce you to the role, as well as flexible working options and training, support and development in your career.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide specialist haemoglobinopathy nursing services to children and their families in the community.
  • To work collaboratively as part of a multi-professional team and interagency working.
  • To develop, implement and review policies, guidelines, protocols, processes and administrative systems.

We are looking for someone who has experience of community nursing, haemoglobinopathy nursing, advanced clinical assessment skills and experience of teaching.
