Nursing Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nursing Team Lead to join our Interventional Radiology department at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide clinical leadership to a designated nursing team and ensure the provision of high quality nursing care to children and families.
- To promote a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research and evidence-based practice.
- To be familiar with and adopt the principles of the NHS Chief Nursing Officers vision for Compassion In Practice.
Requirements:
- NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC registered ODP (appropriate to clinical speciality).
- Relevant nursing/ODP qualification.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development relating to clinical speciality.
- Experience of having worked with acute/chronically sick children or specialised transferable skills.
Working Environment:
The Interventional Radiology department currently operates from 8am-6.30pm, Monday to Friday. Once sufficient experience and competency is achieved you will also be required to participate in rotation on the on-call rota and to rotate into the list coordinator role.
