Job Title:Veterinary Nursing Team Lead
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an overview of the nursing team and provision of patient care across the team they lead. This role requires effective management skills, working closely with other lead nurses and the Clinical Nursing Manager to achieve shared goals. A strong work protocol is essential, including a high level of hygiene and infection control awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain an overview of the nursing team and provision of patient care.
  2. Manage your area of responsibility in collaboration with other lead nurses and the Clinical Nursing Manager.
  3. Demonstrate exceptional nursing duties, adhering to high standards of hygiene and infection control.
  4. Approximately 95% of the role will be clinical duties, allowing 5% for administration, including on-call rota responsibilities.
  5. Ensure high-quality nursing care is provided by yourself and those within your area of responsibility.
  6. Support the Clinical Nursing Manager in achieving practice goals.
