We are seeking a highly skilled Highway Support Specialist to join our Countywide Projects Team at Lancashire County Council.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing highway enquiries from members of the public and elected members, providing technical responses and demonstrating exceptional customer focus skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage highway enquiries and provide technical responses
  • Provide technical and administrative assistance to the Countywide Projects management team
  • Assist with day-to-day duties in the office, including ordering and quality checking of works
  • Regularly update live inventories and assist technicians and engineers with other duties as required

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
