About the Role

The University of Manchester is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join the Assessments & Progression team in the MBA & Global Operations team.

The successful candidate will support the Assessments & Progression Officer to coordinate the delivery of assessment activities across the assessment and progression team, within the Teaching & Learning area that sits within the MBA & Global Operations Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer all aspects of assessment activities, including assessments, external examiners, servicing examination boards, and student complaints and appeals.
  • Supervise and motivate staff to ensure the smooth delivery of assessment activities.
  • Communicate effectively with staff from across the MBA & Global programmes, international centres, and the School, providing explanation and interpreting information to ensure understanding.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in Higher Education administration and preferably in assessments, having an understanding of assessment and progression regulations.
