About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist to join our UK Impact Assessment department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating statutory and non-statutory environmental assessment processes for major development proposals across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Environmental Baseline Data Collection and Analysis: You will be responsible for scoping and coordinating environmental baseline data collection, interpreting data, and collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to communicate environmental and sustainability constraints and opportunities for development.
  • Relationship Building and Stakeholder Engagement: You will develop relationships with Ramboll colleagues, supply chain partners, and clients to ensure effective stakeholder engagement and public consultation.
  • Report Writing and Data Management: You will write reports, conduct peer reviews, and manage spatial data for the preparation of figures.
  • Project Delivery and Coordination: You will coordinate and manage key technical and commercial aspects of project delivery, ensuring timely and effective project outcomes.
  • Client Advisory and Strategy Development: You will advise clients on strategy for stakeholder engagement and public consultation, and participate in both.

About Our Team

You will be part of our UK Impact Assessment department, which forms part of our Global Impact Assessment Spearhead. Our team is dedicated to driving growth and specialization in Impact Assessment, with a focus on national impact assessment work and large, strategic projects. We operate a flexible working policy, and our team is made up of experts who respect each other and work towards a common goal.

About You

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, or a related environmental discipline. You should have prior EIA coordination experience on complex projects, excellent communication skills, and a Master's degree in an environmental discipline (advantageous).
