Senior Environmental Impact Assessment Manager

About the Role
RPS Group is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Impact Assessment Manager to join our specialist EIA team. As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing large-scale EIA projects, including renewable energy infrastructure projects, such as offshore wind, onshore cable routes, substations, and solar farms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead EIA projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and delivering high-quality results.
- Develop and implement project management plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, promoting professional development and growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in EIA and environmental management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing large-scale EIA projects, including renewable energy infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of EIA regulations, planning laws, and environmental management practices.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
