Programme overviewOur graduate GROW programme is a structured 3-year programme, designed to help you evolve and develop skills to become an experienced professional in your chosen field. You’ll benefit from training and development, mentoring, and assistance for accreditations relevant to your programme, as well as the support and guidance you need to develop and succeed. As a GROW graduate you will be empowered to drive your career and will be exposed to a variety of experiences to assist you in gaining the skills you require to succeed.
As a specialist and science graduate joining GROW you will specialise from day one in your chosen discipline. Working in teams of consultants you’ll be responsible for your own deliverables, liaising with clients, and given every opportunity to build your skillsets and technical expertise. You’ll work on a range of environmental and planning projects which may include major infrastructure, urban regeneration and community focussed projects that will expose you to a variety of challenges and technical specialists.
SpecialismAs part of our Planning, Environmental Assessment and Management team you’ll be instrumental in improving the environmental performance and helping to conduct impact assessments for a diverse range of sectors, working across large scale infrastructure projects, mixed-use development schemes, public realm and master planning projects, and world-renowned Energy and Power projects. You will be involved in a variety of work across the life cycle of projects and programmes from initial feasibility studies / optioneering assessments and Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEA) through to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) applications.
Accepted degreesBEng/BSc/BA/MEng/MSc/ MA in an Environmental (Environmental Impact Assessment; Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Earth Sciences (e.g. Geology) subject or equivalent.
Qualifications & experience- You will be graduating in 2025 or have recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree
- You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player
- You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
- Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working)
- Hold a full driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK
- Comfortable with Site based working, when required for projects
