Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Neighbourhood Community Mental Health Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead practice development and provide expert occupational therapy services to patients with complex mental health needs.
- Contribute to the planning, development, and evaluation of occupational therapy services within the team.
- Supervise and support junior staff, including occupational therapy students.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans.
- Provide outcomes for the service and service users by using agreed tools and assessments.
- Specialist knowledge and application of occupational therapy assessments and interventions relevant to client group.
- Knowledge and experience of audit procedures.
- Understanding of occupational therapy outcome measures.
- Detailed knowledge of mental health legislation and current practice.
- Detailed knowledge of the principles of clinical governance and its application.
- 27 days leave plus bank holidays, increasing up to 33 days with long service.
