Key Responsibilities- Lead practice development and provide leadership for junior staff through supervision and appraisal.
- Manage a caseload of clients with complex needs, using evidence-based and client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
- Provide outcomes for the service and service users by using agreed tools and assessments.
- Contribute to the maintenance and development of the Trust OT Service.
- Regularly supervise OT students.
- Specialist knowledge and application of occupational therapy assessments and interventions relevant to the client group.
- Knowledge and experience of audit procedures.
- Understanding of occupational therapy outcome measures.
- Detailed knowledge of mental health legislation and current practice.
- Detailed knowledge of the principles of clinical governance and its application.
- Working knowledge and experience of the application of the Model of Human Occupation.
- Knowledge of occupational therapy models of practice.
- Experience of a range of mental health settings.
