Rotational Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team in a rotational position. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work in various clinical settings, including acute inpatient wards, outpatient departments, and community services.
About the RoleIn this rotational position, you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in a range of areas, including acute illness management, manual handling assessment and interventions, and discharge planning. You will work closely with our experienced team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Hold an active caseload within your current rotation at Worcestershire Royal Hospital or Alexandra Hospital.
- Take an active role within the referral system across OT services, providing accurate feedback to Senior staff to allow the allocation of the caseload to effect timely assessment and discharge.
- Provide advice/assistance to OT assistants and students carrying an acute caseload.
- Contribute to effective team working within the OT Team on rotation and wider MDT.
