Career Opportunity: Clinical Mental Health Specialist

Optimise Healthcare Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Mental Health Specialist to join their team at an expanding mental health outpatient clinic.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a diverse range of healthcare professionals, receive comprehensive training in various mental health treatments, and develop skills in leadership and management.

About the Role:

  • To ensure the implementation of quality assurance initiatives within the clinic.
  • To assume responsibility for the day-to-day running of the clinic.
  • To comply with regulatory requirements, particularly those related to outpatient clinics.
  • To manage the storage, handling, and administration of medications according to professional and legal standards.
  • To stay updated on the latest research and evidence-based practices in mental health care.
  • To participate in clinical supervision and report any safeguarding concerns to the line manager and local authority.

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate will hold a BSc in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent qualification, possess further training in ADHD/ASD and TMS, and have a minimum of 1 year post-qualifying experience as a registered mental health nurse.

This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check to ensure the successful candidate meets the necessary criteria.
