Relief Kitchen Staff

Join our culinary team as a Relief Chef and take your culinary skills to the next level As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements. You will maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
Support the culinary team by stepping in to cover absences, assisting during peak periods, and contributing to special events across various locations. Collaborate with diverse teams and adapt to different kitchen environments. Participate in menu planning and development when required. Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including inventory management and stock control. Provide training and support to kitchen staff as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef in various settings (e.g., restaurants, hotels, schools, care homes). Culinary qualification or relevant training is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to different kitchen environments. Excellent cooking skills and creativity in menu planning. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Availability to travel to different locations as needed.
