Aerospace Electronics Technician

Omega is seeking an experienced Aerospace Electronics Technician to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, fault-finding, and repairing a range of products to meet customer commitments in terms of quality and timescales. The salary for this role is estimated to be around $75,000-$95,000 per annum, depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, with experience in testing and fault-finding production units and PCBs to component level. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Test and fault-find production units and PCBs to component level using Test Specifications and circuit diagrams.
- Repair and assemble products, including soldering to IPC 600 J standard 001.
- Provide assistance to Engineering with investigation units.
- Supply regular updates to meet the needs of each customer regarding the status of the units.
- Program PCBs and devices using Programming Loading Documents.
- Perform inspection on all activities as and when required.
Requirements:
- Educated to HNC/HND or degree level in an electronics-related field.
- Experience in electronics biased qualification or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with IPC Standards.
