Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical and Electronics Engineer to work in our aerospace Advanced Technology Organisation (ATO). The successful candidate will define the hardware scope and functionality of our new products, collaborate with the project team, and support transition into production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design prototype product hardware architecture in collaboration with systems, software, mechanical, and tools teams.
  • Develop a deep understanding of aircraft electrical power and avionics systems, including electric and hybrid vehicles.
  • Work with customers to develop concepts for their new aircraft.
  • Ongoing requirement for local and international travel.
Requirements
  • Experience working as an Electrical/Electronic Engineer in the aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors.
  • Good understanding of electrical power systems.
  • Experience of industry-standard tools equivalent to DOORS, SIMetrics simulation, and Mentor Graphic schematic capture and PCB layout.
Preferred Characteristics
  • Passion for engineering and innovation.
  • Experience of the design and development of safety-critical equipment.
  • Exceptional design skills with the ability to resolve multi-variable, multi-domain trade studies to optimize designs.
  • Strong analogue electronics design experience.
