About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic Academic Support Professionals to join one of our client Mainstream Primary Schools. The school focuses on providing a positive, safe, and stimulating environment for children to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with teachers and other staff members to support pupils across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) up to Key Stage 2 (KS2).
- Support pupils with additional needs, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Offer support in the planning and preparation of resources and activities.
- Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the school's values and ethos.
- Work with small groups or 1-2-1 with pupils providing tailored support in areas such as literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school environment.
- Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is desirable but not essential.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting all children, including those with additional needs.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of pupils.
