Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Widnes-based school. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to a pupil with complex ASD and non-verbal needs.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be working closely with the pupil to ensure their inclusion and accessibility in all activities, both in and out of the classroom. This will involve:

  • Supporting the pupil with speech and language interventions
  • Conducting phonics assessments
  • Developing sensory skills using the sensory room
  • Providing personal care and behaviour management
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Previous experience working with complex SEN
  • Experience supporting ASD and/or non-verbal pupils
  • Comfort with personal care
  • Commitment to a full-time temporary ongoing contract
