Job Overview

**Interim Deputy Head of Planning and Strategy**

Harnham is seeking an experienced Data Transformation Lead to contribute to the Digital Transformation of a London University. As a key member of the planning team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of analytics within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Collaborate with Stakeholders**: Work closely with key stakeholders from across the university to understand their needs and align existing and new data infrastructure to meet their requirements.
  • **Data Strategy and Analytics**: Brainstorm with peers to offer advice on the future direction of analytics within the department, ensuring the delivery of reporting and analytics with an Azure Data environment, as well as tools including Tableau and Alteryx.
  • **Team Leadership and Strategy**: Implement and establish the team, strategy, and new systems across the organization as a whole.

Requirements

  • **Experience in Complex Data Functions**: Proven experience working within complex data functions, ideally within a university's planning department.
  • **Data, Reporting, and Analytics Expertise**: Strong understanding of data, reporting, and analytics, with the hands-on ability to deliver as required.
  • **Relationship Building**: Excellent relationship building experience with stakeholders at every level of an organization.
  • **Strategic Advice**: Ability to strategically offer advice on integrating future data technologies to existing record systems.

Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive daily rate (outside IR35) for the initial 6-month period. The role will be hybrid, expecting 2-3 days per week in Central London.
