Job Summary:
Harnham is seeking an experienced Data Specialist to join our team as an Interim Deputy Head of Planning and Data Strategy. This exciting opportunity will involve contributing to the Digital Transformation of a London University by providing a combination of data strategy and hands-on analytics.
About the Role:
As the university undergoes major change, increasing utilization of data across the institution, and transforming their tech stack, we are seeking a skilled Data Specialist with Higher Education experience. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders from across the university to understand what is in place and how to align existing and new data infrastructure to their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver reporting and analytics solutions with an Azure Data environment, as well as tools including Tableau and Alteryx.
- Provide strategic advice on integrating future data technologies to existing record systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at every level of the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision making.
Requirements:
- Experience working within complex data functions, ideally within a university's planning department.
- Strong understanding of data, reporting, and analytics, with the hands-on ability to deliver as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
What We Offer:
The successful Interim Deputy Head of Planning and Data Strategy will receive a competitive daily rate (outside IR35) for the initial 6-month period. The role will be hybrid, expecting 2-3 days per week in Central London.
