Strategic Communications Deputy Director

About the RoleThis exciting newly created role will be at the heart of our organization, working closely with our Strategic Director for External Affairs to tell our story and make a difference from the playground to parliament. You'll analyze, influence, and ultimately change the complex systems that affect children and families.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead our work with policymakers, bringing evidence and children's voice to the heart of government.
- Tell the compelling story about the change we want to see, the work we do, and the difference we make.
- Lead a multi-faceted team of policy and communications staff, working across all NCB teams and with strategic external partners to develop ambitious policy, public affairs, and communication plans.
- Hold overall operational responsibility for the implementation of NCB's corporate strategy, leading annual operational plans and impact reporting.
As a Deputy Director for Policy, Communications and Strategy, you'll enjoy a generous benefits package, including 30 days annual leave plus Bank holidays and 3 days of Christmas closure. We promote a hybrid and flexible way of working, allowing you to work remotely for part of the week if you wish.
