Clinical Psychologist

The Specialist Learning Disability Service is a dedicated team of professionals providing assessment, intervention, and consultation services for children and adolescents with diagnosed learning disabilities. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality psychological services, working closely with Learning Disability Nurses and Support Assistants to support children and families.
Main Responsibilities- Supervise staff and trainees within the Pathway, promoting clinical governance and quality improvement.
- Take a leadership role in the clinical psychology service, promoting clinical governance and quality improvement.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines, exercising responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice.

Person Specification- Qualified Clinical Psychologist (or equivalent)
- HCPC registration
- Experience in using assessment tools such as Vineland 3, WISC, and WAIS
- Car driver
