Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or Therapist to join our Urgent and Inpatient Care Psychology Team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team, providing high-quality psychological services to individuals with complex mental health needs. As a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, formulating, and implementing treatment plans for clients, as well as providing supervision and training to junior staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and formulate treatment plans for clients with complex mental health needs
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based approaches
- Supervise and train junior staff, including psychologists and therapists
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
- Qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (D.Psychol. or equivalent) and eligible for Chartered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist Status in the British Psychological Society
- Experience of working in Adult Mental Health services and with people with severe and complex mental health difficulties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
