Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support throughout the anaesthetic process. This includes preparing equipment and drugs, ensuring patient safety and comfort during anaesthesia, and facilitating communication between teams.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • A recognised qualification in anaesthetic nursing or operating departmental practice (ODP).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, as well as work flexibly to meet the needs of the team.
  • Experience of working within a similar environment, preferably in a cardiothoracic setting.
