We are seeking a skilled commercial contracts solicitor to join our team at Sarto Thomas Ltd.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial contracts and property law, with proven experience in regeneration, development projects, or local authority work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice on commercial contracts, property transactions, and regeneration schemes.
  • Draft and negotiate complex agreements, including development agreements, leases, procurement contracts, and joint venture arrangements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, public procurement regulations, and council policies.
  • Support multidisciplinary teams in delivering regeneration and infrastructure projects.
  • Manage external legal advisors and liaise with stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified solicitor with a strong background in commercial contracts and property law.
  • Proven experience in regeneration, development projects, or local authority work.
  • Knowledge of public procurement and local government law is desirable.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to provide pragmatic, solution-focused legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
