Property Development Law Specialist

We are seeking a skilled commercial contracts solicitor to join our team at Sarto Thomas Ltd.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial contracts and property law, with proven experience in regeneration, development projects, or local authority work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on commercial contracts, property transactions, and regeneration schemes.
- Draft and negotiate complex agreements, including development agreements, leases, procurement contracts, and joint venture arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, public procurement regulations, and council policies.
- Support multidisciplinary teams in delivering regeneration and infrastructure projects.
- Manage external legal advisors and liaise with stakeholders.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Qualified solicitor with a strong background in commercial contracts and property law.
- Proven experience in regeneration, development projects, or local authority work.
- Knowledge of public procurement and local government law is desirable.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to provide pragmatic, solution-focused legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
