Senior Drainage Design Engineer Opportunity

BWB Consulting Ltd is a leading engineering and environmental design consultancy seeking a highly skilled Senior Drainage Design Engineer to join our Design Infrastructure team in Leeds.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in drainage design to work on challenging projects, including highway drainage schemes. As a Senior Drainage Design Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking preliminary and detailed design of drainage schemes, utilizing industry-standard design software packages such as Microdrainage and Civil 3D.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop drainage schemes for highway projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex projects from planning to completion.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including developers, local authorities, and contractors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in drainage design.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in drainage design, preferably with a background in highway drainage.
  • Strong knowledge of industry-standard design software packages, including Microdrainage and Civil 3D.
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
