Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Functional Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medical assessments of individuals to determine the impact of their disabilities or conditions on their work life.
  • Use your clinical expertise to gather information and make informed decisions.
  • Produce accurate and concise reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) to inform benefit decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality assessments and reports.

Requirements:

  • HCPC Registered Physiotherapist with a minimum 12 months of recent broad-based post-registration experience.
  • Experience in functional assessment and clinical decision-making is an advantage.
  • Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is essential.
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
  • Sound understanding of clinical governance and customer service standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
