About the Role

As a Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life. You will draw on your clinical expertise to listen carefully to each person's medical history, perform physical examinations, and produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct face-to-face and telephone/video assessments with individuals
  • Produce high-quality reports for the DWP
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
  • Stay up-to-date with best practice standards and guidelines
Requirements
  • Qualified Physiotherapist with a strong clinical background
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment
  • Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and a commitment to ongoing learning
