About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our Orthopaedics team at Rivers Hospital. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our theatres.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing expert scrub nursing care to patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery
- Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of theatre equipment and supplies
- Collaborating with the theatre team to ensure efficient and safe surgical procedures
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and theatre operations
Requirements
- NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
- Senior level scrub experience in orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable but not essential
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Flexible and positive attitude, with a warm and empathetic character
