About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your career and contribute to delivering high-quality clinical outcomes. As a Senior Orthopaedic Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients undergoing orthopaedic procedures, including hip and knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligament repairs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and support during orthopaedic procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient operating room procedures
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre policies and procedures
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills
- NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
- Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable but not essential
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
