Job Overview:


We are seeking a skilled Learning Assistant to support children with special needs in our resourced provisions based in primary and secondary schools across the Bradford District.

The Role:


This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a SEND Higher Level Teaching Assistant. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide targeted support to pupils with Autism and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.



Responsibilities:


Your key responsibilities will include:



  • Providing individualised support to pupils with complex needs
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborating with other staff members to achieve pupil outcomes


Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A strong understanding of child development and special educational needs
  • Experience working with pupils with Autism and SEMH needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to providing high-quality support to pupils and their families
