Event and Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and creative Event and Marketing Assistant to join our team at Brighton Chamber. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Events Manager in planning and delivering a range of events, as well as assisting with marketing activities to promote our events and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with event planning, including setting up event booking pages, writing and sending event communications, and managing event equipment.
  • Support the Events Manager in communicating with venues, attendees, and suppliers.
  • Collate marketing information about events and share it with partner organizations.
  • Use social media and the website to promote events and services.
  • Write and set up email marketing mailers using Mailchimp.
  • Assist with creating and sending marketing packs to event speakers.
  • Monitor and process new signups to our campaigns and associated admin.
