Care Partner for Aisha

An engaging role that involves providing supportive care and companionship to a young lady with Cerebral Palsy, fostering a sense of belonging and purpose.

About the Role:

This role offers a unique opportunity for someone to make a positive difference in Aisha's life by offering emotional support and assistance with daily living tasks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support Aisha with daily tasks, including meal preparation and household chores
  • Accompany Aisha to social events and community activities
  • Encourage Aisha's participation in hobbies and interests
Requirements:
  • Compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy individual
  • Flexible and adaptable approach
  • No experience necessary, but a desire to work with people with disabilities is essential
Work Schedule:
  • Approximately 9 hours per week during term time, typical hours: Tuesdays 5pm-8.30/9.0pm and Sundays 12.00-5.00pm
  • During school holidays, hours may increase to 10 hrs a week over 2 days, typical hours 11.00am-3/4.00pm
Remuneration and Benefits:
  • Weekdays: £16.50 per hour, Weekends: £17.50 per hour
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata
  • Pension (subject to qualifying status)
  • Free DBS check

Estimated Salary Range: £15,120 - £18,360 per annum (dependent on hours worked)
