Job Title: Head of Rent and Service Charges

We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as the Head of Rent and Service Charges. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with extensive experience in setting rents and preparing service charges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement income generation strategies that align with our goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the setting, management, and administration of rents and service charges.
  • Drive and manage change initiatives to improve processes and outcomes within the rent and service charge function.
  • Lead and mentor the income management team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • In-depth understanding of rent and service charges within the social housing sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to convey complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints effectively.
