About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Care Manager to join our team at Housing 21. As an Assistant Care Manager, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to our residents and supporting the management team in the delivery of our care services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Carrying out assessments of new or existing residents to ensure comprehensive care plans are in place.
  2. Managing and supporting a team of care employees, providing induction, line management, supervision, and support.
  3. Supporting the management team with recruitment, employee induction, training, and disciplinary procedures.
  4. Contributing to the service's quality assurance system through auditing, observations, and resident feedback.
  5. Preparing rotas in line with commissioned care hours.
  6. Acting as the responsible person for the safe running of the care service in the absence of the Registered Manager.
