About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Advocate to join our team at LIFEHEALTH LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals and families affected by mental health and substance abuse issues.   • Provide advocacy, guidance, and support to adult clients with severe mental illness and/or substance use disorders
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with community agencies and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive support services
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge

Responsibilities:

  • Assess client needs and develop individualized support plans
  • Connect clients with relevant community resources and services
  • Facilitate communication between clients, service providers, and other stakeholders
  • Monitor client progress and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human services (Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Family studies, Counseling, Public Health, Special Education, Education)
  • One-year post-graduation minimum experience working with SMI adults; or 6 months if possessing a master's degree in an approved field
  • Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
