Patient Access Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Access Leader to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Patient Access Leader, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Patient Access team in providing a comprehensive range of administrative services to patients, consultants, and other third parties.
  • Manage patient pathways to ensure efficient and effective patient access to our services.
  • Provide effective leadership and demonstrate exemplary role modeling to ensure a seamless patient pathway.
  • Ensure that the Patient Access team provides a 5-star service to all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage staff appraisals and professional development plans to ensure the team is equipped to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Act as the point of escalation for patient complaints, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
  • Comply with all HCA policies and procedures, and support the Patient Access Manager to ensure the team is fully compliant.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with all facility staff, revenue cycle teams, and third-party sponsors.

Requirements:

  • Management/supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Problem-solving ability, including patient and consultant complaints.
  • Excellent customer care skills.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office – Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
