Senior Practitioner for Children with Disabilities

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is a leading recruitment agency, partnering with Achieving for Children to find an exceptional Senior Practitioner. This permanent position will be based in Kingston and involves working full-time in the Children with Disabilities Team.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of the Children with Disabilities Team, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to develop individualised plans and ensure effective outcomes. Your expertise in assessing needs and developing interventions will be invaluable in supporting our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs, developing comprehensive care plans that meet their unique requirements.
- Care Coordination: Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals to chair meetings, review progress, and make adjustments as needed.
- Intervention and Support: Utilise your skills and experience to engage children, young people, and their families in achieving their objectives, ensuring their voice is heard.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Proven Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the children's services sector.
- Expertise: Demonstrable expertise in assessment, care planning, and intervention strategies for children with disabilities.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in social work or a related field, and/or equivalent experience.
- Competitive Salary: £49,083 per annum.
- Holiday Entitlement: 29 days annual leave (increasing to 33 days after 2 years and 35 days after 4 years), plus your birthday off.
