Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Kettering/Corby/Wellingborough area. The successful candidate will be responsible for finding, diagnosing, and rectifying faults, as well as undertaking preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.


Key Responsibilities
  • Finding, diagnosing, and rectifying faults on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Undertaking preventative maintenance on material handling equipment
  • Working with various types of forklifts, including pallet trucks, IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or hydraulics
  • An NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant field
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal colleagues
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A positive and can-do attitude

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include:
