Material Handling Engineer Opportunity

Professional Technical, a global leading manufacturer, has a newly created opportunity for a Resident Engineer to join one of their leading sites based in the Northampton area. The role would suit a trained Car Mechanic/Vehicle Technician looking to progress their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and repair of material handling equipment.
  • Ordering of parts as efficiently as possible & ensuring all stock levels/movement records are accurate & correct
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately & within the stipulated time period & with the relevant order numbers
  • Manage own work-in-progress
  • Maintain a safe working environment & work in a safe manner
  • Report any unsafe practices or potential hazards immediately
  • Attend training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment
