Blom and Blom Childrens Day Nursery is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Nursery Manager to support the nursery manager in the day-to-day operations of our Cambridge setting. This role offers a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of senior early years practitioner or deputy nursery manager experience, with a sound working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and Ofsted Standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the nursery manager in providing an enabling and stimulating environment for children to play, learn, and develop. Key responsibilities include supervising and reviewing staff development and performance, conducting evaluations of the setting, staff, and activities, and working closely with the nursery team to ensure high-quality care. Additionally, you will be expected to work collaboratively with the management team to implement policies and procedures that align with the company's vision and values.

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 1 year's experience in a senior nursery practitioner or deputy nursery manager position, as well as a sound knowledge of the latest Early Years Foundation Stage framework and regulations. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and external partners.
