Job Title: Aerospace Technical Author

Seismic Limited is seeking a skilled Technical Author to join our team and work on engineering material for several New Advanced Power Generation projects.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Technical Author to create service and installation manuals for some of our most exciting applications to date. As a Technical Author, you will be responsible for planning, prioritization, and time management to author and publish multiple publications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multiple departments (Engineering, Product Groups, Service Engineering, Compliance) to obtain technical information to complete high quality and specific publications.
  • Use various authoring tools such as Windchill, Framemaker, Adobe Creative Studio, and Microsoft Office 365 to complete publication, review, and approval processes.
  • Develop excellent planning and time management skills to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality publications.
  • Interpret basic technical data and apply knowledge of engineering drawing, illustration, and model understanding.
  • Experience with 3D modeling software, ideally Windchill, ArborText, and Adobe Creative Studio, is highly desirable.
  • Good working knowledge of Engine Aftertreatment Systems and/or Electronic and Electrical Engineering would be an advantage.
