Technical Author Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Author to join our team at Seismic Limited. As a Technical Author, you will be responsible for creating high-quality service and installation manuals for our new advanced power generation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage time to author and publish multiple publications.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product groups, service engineering, and compliance departments to obtain technical information.
  • Use authoring tools such as Windchill, Framemaker, Adobe Creative Studio, and Microsoft Office 365 to complete publication, review, and approval processes.
  • Develop engineering drawings, illustrations, and models.
  • Apply excellent planning and time management skills.
  • Interpret basic technical data.
  • Utilize 3D modeling software, preferably Windchill, ArborText, and Adobe Creative Studio.
  • Familiarity with engine aftertreatment systems and electronic and electrical engineering is an advantage.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Creative Studio.
  • Experience with 3D modeling software and technical documentation tools.
