Technical Author for Advanced Power Generation

We are seeking a skilled Technical Author to join our team at Seismic Recruitment. As a Technical Author, you will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation for our client's advanced power generation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for new and existing products, including service manuals, application manuals, and installation guides.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product groups, and service engineering, to gather technical information and ensure accuracy.
  • Utilize various authoring tools, such as Windchill, Framemaker, Adobe Creative Studio, and Microsoft Office 365, to create, review, and approve publications.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawing, illustration, and model knowledge.
  • Excellent planning and time management skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical data and create clear, concise documentation.
  • Experience with 3D modeling software, preferably Windchill, ArborText, and Adobe Creative Studio.
  • Good working knowledge of engine aftertreatment systems and/or electronic and electrical engineering is an advantage.
